A 2.0MP camera is also available, with its 16MB of on board storage able to be supplemented with Memory Stick Micro (M2) memory cards. . The HGE-100 doubles as a stereo handsfree device, playing music and giving directions while in use. Using the included ‘Tracker’ sports GPS application, users can record trip speed, distances, and calorie burn while exercising for fitness training. Push email with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync is also a welcome addition to a non-smartphone device. The K530 can also deliver weather forecasts for your current location on demand. While Nokia has been bundling GPS functionality in handsets for a little while now, Sony Ericsson has, until now, not entered the fray.

A new feature on the T650 is the illumination effects system that controls the keypad backlighting and the lights on the sides of the phone: the lights interact with on-screen animations to add to the phone’s entertainment value. . It supports 3G UMTS on the 2100MHz band as well as tri-band GSM/GPRS support. It weighs around 95g (3.3oz) and is pretty thin in profile at 12.5mm thick. The T610’s lowly .1 megapixel camera has been replaced by a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus unit. The new T650 gets a host of updates that set it apart from the T610, bringing the device squarely into modern times.
